OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES · VERSION 2026-08-29

Official rules

1. Sponsor and Apple notice

Altiora LLP, trading as BagsLeague, sponsors and administers the contests. Apple Inc. is not a sponsor, administrator, endorser, or participant and is not involved in any way. Entries and claims use wallet transactions, not Apple In-App Purchase. Questions may be sent to @bagsleague.

2. Eligibility

Entrants must satisfy the age, location, wallet, and legal-eligibility requirements in the Terms of Use. Paid contests are void where prohibited. India is treated as restricted for paid contests pending regulatory clearance and specialist legal advice. The same person may not enter the same league through multiple wallets or join a contest from a location where paid participation is not permitted.

3. Daily schedule

A Daily League is scheduled to open at 13:00 UTC and close exactly 24 hours later. Entry closes at 12:59:30 UTC. The current interface may display a countdown and localized explanation, but the stored UTC timestamps and relevant contract round define the window. A lineup is editable until lock; a confirmed entry's escrow remains in place when a permitted edit is saved.

4. Eligible asset pool

Each round uses the asset universe locked for that round. Every pick must be in that pool. The pool and rules commitment are recorded before entry. Assets may include stocks, ETFs, crypto assets, and memecoins; inclusion is not investment advice, an endorsement, or a promise of liquidity.

5. Building a Bag

A standard Daily lineup contains five different assets. Weights must total 100%, with each asset between 5% and 35%. Select one captain, whose contribution is multiplied by 1.5. A Daily lineup may contain no more than two stocks, two core crypto assets, two memecoins, and one ETF, and must represent at least three categories. A custom league may use the asset count disclosed on its card; the interface enforces the applicable formation.

6. Scoring

Each asset's percentage return is calculated from the validated opening price to the validated closing price. The lineup score is the sum of each percentage return multiplied by its lineup weight, with the captain multiplier applied. Nominal asset prices do not determine weighting. Scores are ranked from highest to lowest and displayed to two decimals, while settlement comparisons use the contract's higher precision.

7. Prices and evidence

The settlement service uses the designated primary source for each locked asset and records opening and closing evidence. Chainlink feeds are preferred where configured; other approved market-data sources may be used as disclosed by the product. A price must be finite, positive, and valid for the endpoint. Settlement can be delayed for review or recovery when a provider is unavailable. If required selected-asset prices cannot be validated consistently, the affected round may be voided and refundable.

8. Daily League entry and payout

The entry screen shows the current USDC amount; the deployed round commitment and contract are controlling. With one valid entrant, the round cancels and the full entry remains refundable. With two or more entrants, 10% of the gross pot is allocated to the protocol and 90% to players. The top 25% of ordinal positions, rounded up, are paid. Each paid position first receives an entry-return component, and the remaining player pool is assigned using descending rank weights. Exact score ties share equally the combined amounts assigned to the paid positions occupied by the tied group. A tie below the paid cutoff does not create an extra paid position.

9. Custom leagues

Custom leagues may be free or paid, support the player cap, asset count, start date, and repeat length shown before creation, and generally require at least two players. A paid custom league uses the entry amount and minimum field committed at creation; the current product permits whole-dollar entries up to $100 per game. Normally settled paid custom pots route 5% to the protocol and, only when enabled before creation, a separate 5% creator fee. The remaining player pool is distributed under the custom-league rank schedule enforced by the contract. An underfunded, cancelled, or voided paid custom league charges no protocol or creator fee and keeps the applicable escrow refundable. Free leagues award no token prize; the winner receives a shareable result and bragging-rights card.

10. Claims and refunds

Settlement calculates entitlement; it does not by itself transfer every reward to the wallet. A winner or refund-eligible entrant must submit the available claim transaction. The interface may group several pending claims, but each contract action remains independently confirmable onchain. Gas is paid by the claimant. A reward is complete when the contract confirms payment, even if the interface refresh is delayed.

11. Cancellation and correction

A round may be cancelled or voided for an insufficient field, invalid or unavailable endpoint data, a cancelled underlying Daily window, a contract-defined invalid state, security incident, or material integrity failure. Offchain display errors may be corrected to match verified source data and contract state. Locked economic rules and completed onchain transfers are not changed retroactively.

12. Fair play and disqualification

Collusion, multi-accounting, manipulation, false transaction submissions, unauthorized automation, exploiting defects, interference with pricing or settlement, and evasion of eligibility controls are prohibited. BagsLeague may investigate, preserve records, restrict access, and disqualify where the contract and applicable law allow. If a deployed contract does not permit an administrative reversal, the onchain result remains technically controlling.

13. Records, taxes and questions

Blockchain events, the contract's stored commitment, and verified settlement data are the official contest records. Entrants are responsible for applicable taxes and reporting. Questions or error reports should be sent to @bagsleague with the wallet address, transaction hash, and league or round ID.
